Several aspects are covered, like super-scalar processors, SIMD, multi- and many core architectures. The lecture also covers memory hierarchy. Specific realization in different implementations (cluster, GPU, SoC) are discussed. Additionally, architecture is applied by means of instruction set architecture (ISA), different APIs (numerical, Map-Reduce, Open*).
