It is with great sadness that we must announce that Professor Martin Hofmann has died while hiking on Mount Nikko Shirane in Japan. He was visiting Japan to participate in a Computer Science workshop.
The Institute of Informatics with all professors, researchers, staff and students are mourning this painful and untimely loss. Our thoughts are with his family.
