Google Summer of Code 2018: Implementing Hermitian Matrices in Eigen

Abstract:
This talk is about Eigen, a C++ template library for linear algebra
that is used in famous projects, including the Roboting Operating
System (ROS), the ATLAS detector framework at CERN or Google's machine
learning framework Tensorflow.

As a Google Summer of Code 2018 student I had the opportunity to
extend parts of Eigen by implementing support for Hermitian matrices.

After a brief introduction to Google Summer of Code, we will have a
closer look at Eigen and its new support for Hermitian matrices. On
the way interesting programming techniques such as static polymorphism
or expression templates are explained.
